Russia is looking to achieve self-sufficiency in fish feed. Currently, however, the country is strongly dependent on imports and domestic feeds lack quality, which is believed to be the main factor constraining the growth of the Russian fish farming industry. High-quality feed is needed to fuel the anticipated growth in Russian aquaculture.
