Feed industry in the context of the Russia-Ukraine war – 1 year on

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has changed the landscape of the feed industry in the post-Soviet space. As the conflict now is increasingly looking like a quagmire, any improvements seem very unlikely. Room for deterioration, however, always exists. In December 2022, Russian feed production stood at 3.3 million tonnes, 6.9% up compared with the previous year. This was the highest monthly production ever. According to preliminary estimations, Russian feed production blew past 3.3 million tonn
