War holds grain market in its grip

Each time the prospect of an end to the war in Ukraine fades, prices go up. As soon as there is a glimmer of hope for an end to the violence, the prices easy off again. Speculators are eager to get their money’s worth and that leads to very volatile price developments. At the beginning of this week it will be all about falling prices again, after a significant jump up was made just last week.
