Prices for soybeans fell slightly on the international futures markets at the beginning of this week. The price pressure of last week continues. Precipitation at the end of last week in Argentina is good for the soy crop, which has had too little moisture in recent months. Argentina’s soy crop was estimated at 33 million tons by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the latest Wasde report, published March 8. That is a decrease of 8 million tons compared to a month earlier.
