Kazakhstan boosts grain harvest and export opportunities
Kazakhstan’s Agriculture Ministry expects the grain harvest to reach 18.5-19 million tonnes by the end of this year, local media Tengri News reports, citing Vice Minister Muslim Umiryaev. “The harvesting campaign is 97% complete on crop lands. The total weight of grain stands at 20.5 million tonnes, which means the net weight is expected to be around 18.5-19 million tonnes”, the Vice Minister said.
