Feed prices in Russia drop to annual minimum

The average price of feed in September 2013 reached RUB12,400 (US$390), a decrease of 1.5% compared to August 2013, according to the Russian media Soya News Info. Compared to September last year there was an increase in the cost of animal feed by 9%. In March 2013 the price for feed in the domestic Russian market established a record of RUB13,200 (US$416) per tonne. In September this year, the price of animal feed had dropped to an annual minimum.
