HACCP and feed additive measures successfully control Salmonella at SADA
It has been mandatory for poultry meat producers to provide Salmonella-free fresh poultry since 1 December 2011. Next to that the EU directive 2160/2003 aims to reduce levels in poultry and prescribes a target for maximum Salmonella levels in broilers, layers and turkeys.
