Making high quality silage requires good fermentation. However, there are a number of microoragnisms that can not only spoil the silage making process but are also harmful to ruminants, can spoil milk products and are damaging to human consumers. Help is at hand, though, and there are a number of silage additives that can improve the process and reduce spoilage.
